It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to post, but I still wanted to give an update on all that’s been going on. The first community we stayed in was a small farming community in the Free State called Viljoenskroon. We stayed there (and in the surrounding towns) for just over two weeks. If there is one thing the community taught me, it is that where there is great need, there is opportunity for great provision.
While the blessings we experienced and the miracles we witnessed in this community were innumerable, perhaps the highlight was partaking in worship with the Sotho churches in Rammulotsi. To watch people come before the Lord with hearts wide open, to be so overwhelmed by the presence of the Spirit that you can’t help but to dance with joy, to see such faith as to live out the very miracles we learn about in Sunday school, it all is such a blessing that can’t properly be put into words.
Such a blessing that, without the generosity and graciousness of our hosts and my people back home, would not have been possible. God works in wondrous ways, and one of those ways is through His people. As always, I truly cannot begin to express my gratitude to all of those who have been praying and supporting me in this journey; however, that never stopped me from trying. So, in Sotho fashion, let me say kea leboha.
